SOCOM: Confrontation

I downloaded the new SOCOM game from US Store.
It was $41.99.
This is MY opinion about the game after ca. 5 hours

+
- a lot of weapons with customise ( 5 scope, laser sight, grenade launcher...)
- 2 team (commando, terrorist) they have other weapons & clothes ( I have red beret )
- all weapon and clothes are free and you can changing it anytime
- you can changing your face and camo
- 10 maps
- a lot of game types (base, elimination, bombplanting, tdm,.....)
- big maps
- ranked and unranked games

-
- very laggy
- the graphic isn't fine (not sharp)
- a lot of campers
- my ps3 froze out twice

It's a good game but I like MGO better.
When you will buy this game, we can playing good matches and doing a good clan

Ill be getting it too. I've heard about the US SOCOM freezing so hopefully they will sort that out before its released here in Europe...

I may wait until the standalone disk is released, maybe that one will be more stable?
Plus it comes with a nice looking headset

That's the cheapest place I've seen Socom for WITH headset.
I won't be able to get this until I'm back in England,which is the 3rd Of November(if I decide to buy it),so save me a place in the clan =D

I have headset but it's not working for PS3.. I will buy the disk too too many downloaded games..

i suggest u guys, wait until the trophies come out n buy than, btw this is my tactic. I have read somewhere that they keps realising patches, so we shound wait till it will be stable, cos i think it can fuck ur lovly ps3

thats why im gonna wait until the disk version comes out.
Im glad americans have it first now lol, i wouldnt wanna play it the way it is atm.

In my country the disk version has came out already..... Which type of the game will u buy ? american or Eu ? Iam hasitating about buying it. but i found a man who sells it chaeper, so should i buy it ?

I will always buy the disc version over a download. It's nice to have something you can actually hold.

If I do buy it, I will get the EU version. Though it's reviews are not really tempting me at the moment.

However i dont think theres any point yet as its got complaints its very glitchy atm.

This should be fixed though in time of the EU disk release.
Gibson, it must be the USA disk version which this "man" has.

It isnt due out for a while yet over here.

You can change the region (EU, USA, Japan....) in the game options.
I have the 1.10 version because there was a patch (443MB).

A patch that size should cover most if not all problems, happy days

Zoli..can you use your regular credit card to buy SOCOM on the USA ps store?

Yeah it's a big patch, the game is 2750MB.
Yes, I can use my credit card on US Store, but it doesn't work on UK Store
