Play nice kiddies.
Yesssssssssssss, you may not have noticed this, but Notorious is a pretty good player. And even though he bought himself a bad reputation along with a nice orange beret, you, as a part of the Rebellion, should not judge people immaturely. Like Notorious said, you should get to know him before you create an inapropriate oppinion without having "OMFG he bought a beret" as the only argument to support it.
On the other hand; Notorious, you are new to these forums and not even in the clan yet, and even though a person is being a dick, you should at least pay little respect. I myself think buying a beret is wrong aswell and this:

For example Second Life or LBP.
This is a bad comparison, these virtual items are to customise your avatar, like items you purchased in MGO's reward shop. Unlike the orange, white, pink and purple beret's however.
These special items are rewarded to people who deserve them, so people can recognise the achievements these people have accomplished. If you know you would never get a 'special beret'.. so it is written, so it will be. A world championship t-shirt is something you are to respect and is special, if everybody had one, everybody would be special, but if everybody is special, nobody would be.
Nothing personal though, I don't really know you yet.
Because this topic is not to be locked, I urge you to stop using this forum for a childish display of rivalary. Which in my oppinion is made out of both jealousy and preconception.
