Some movies I saw towards the end of last year:
Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol Probably one of my favourite movies of the year. Wasn't expecting much but it was great. The scene on the Dubai tower had me sweating like a pedo in a playpen. Saw it at the Imax and it looked incredible.
Hugo I don't know what the fuck this shit was. Pointless 3D. Girlfriend made me watch it with her. I don't know how this got so many nominations, awards, great reviews etc. Havent been so bored watching a movie for a long time. Thought it was meant to be a fun family movie but so many people were leaving as their kids were getting bored.
Adventures of TinTin. I used to watch this when I was kid. Was never really a fan of the cartoon but Spielberg has done a great job with the movie. The 3D is worth it and the actions scenes are really good. Tintin is a retard though. It's all about his dog Snowy really.
Sherlock Holmes Really enjoyed the first one. This one is alot less Hocus-pocusy but still good. I thought slow mo action would have looked great in 3D but I don't think Guy Ritchie is capable or shooting/directing in 3D. Robert Downy Junior is class again but without him the movie would be very average. Stephen Fry was pretty good aswell.
