    PS3 Firmware Updates

Post by Payno on Thu Mar 19, 2009 5:27 pm

Was speaking to somebody earlier and they said they never really had a clue what all the PS3 updates actually do. So I thought Id create a topic listing all the updates to save you trawling through the crappy PS3 website. I will update it each time a new update comes through.

Precision Zoom and Resolution settings (Internet Browser)

Precision Zoom: You can automatically enlarge with pinpoint accuracy the area on the screen where the cursor is located. By analysing the web page source, the system automatically calculates the best enlargement rate based on the area where the cursor is located.

By starting the Folding@home™ program that is installed on a PS3 system, you can participate in this project over the Internet.

Post by AtticusValo on Thu Nov 19, 2009 7:43 am

Firmware update 3.10 released today, it took a while for me to download so i recommend downloading it as soon as possible.

Updates are (from what Ive seen/read):
    - Customisable PSN cards, you can change the colour of them.
    - Facebook settings added to "account management".But no direct link to Facebook, so i guess you use the internet browser? :/
    - Polish added to system languages, meh

Anything i missed be so kind as to mention it ^_^
