World Cup 2014 Prediction Contest

What's it all about?
The aim of the game is to see who can accumulate the most points over the tournament. You will get points at different stages of the competition. Points will be awards for predicting the correct score, the correct result, correctly predicting who makes the Knockout Stage, The Quarter Finals, The Semi Finals and the Final, along with points for correctly predicting who will win the World Cup. The winner will be the person who has accumulated the most points after the World Cup Final.


Scoring

5 Points = Correct Result
(Example - You put England 3-0 USA and the FT score was in fact England 1-0 USA)

10 points = Correct Score
(Example - You put England 3-0 USA and the FT score was England 3-0 USA)

10 Points = for each team you correctly predicted would go through to the Knockout Stage of the World Cup.

20 Points = for each team you correctly predicted would make the Quarter Finals of the World Cup.

30 Points = for each team you correctly predicted would make the Semi Finals of the World Cup.

50 Points = for each team you correctly predicted would make the Final of the World Cup.

50 Points = for each team you correctly predicted would make the Third Place Play Off of the World Cup.

100 Points = for correctly predicted the Winner of the World Cup.
