HELP!! Connection problems.

I've been lagging really badly recently which is odd as most of you know that I used to always host decent games regularly.

Just looking for somebody who knows what they are talking about to see if they can give me some advice on what settings I can change to sort things out. I use a BT Home Hub wireless router.

Thought I'd bump this topic as a few people have been having connection problems recently.

I don't have a static ip address for my ps3,and my net seems fine o_O

It's just for those who are having problems. If your net is fine then you can ignore this.

But I don't live in a rough area so it's fine for me. Well...once a crazy guy(who had been released from prison) came to the hangout area of people from my school,and he threatened them,luckily I had left 10mins before.
