Hello everybody,

I just finished my skype talk with Patrick Wings and i have good news for all of you.

Today, on the biggest german ps3 website, i met the admin (Patrick Wings) of the company ( http://www.my-liga.c...ex.php?setlk=en ) that organized the World Championship 2008 for Europe. They're about to create a new MGO 6vs6 tournament with prizes. I told him that i'm one of those who went to Tokyo and told him about TGF. He wants TGF to become a official partner of his website and i happily agreed to that. Also i will become an admin on his website. They have a league system, so a real MGO league is coming very soon. We might copy our user database and paste it onto their website, that means all of you don't have to register again
Konami might help us to become a whole new community but i will know about Konami's help later. Prizes are to win for sure but its not sure yet, if Konami sponser the prizes. Patrick will call Christian Pfeffer (worker of Konami here in germany - the guy who went to Tokyo with the EU teams) and then we know, if Konami gets us prizes or not.

Now about the tournament.
The tournament will be held in january.

Rules:

1. Matches will be hosted by staff.

2. A team has 15 minutes to show-up with the proper number of players. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.

3. We have a zero tolerance policy for cheating. Teams caught cheating, "glitching", or abusing in-game mechanics in any way will be removed from this tournament.

4. Teams play a best of 3 (first team to win 2 maps wins the match).

5. A "Lag Test" must be completed prior to starting the match. This is a test round that does not count and uses the standard game settings that will be used during the match. For the lag test, a map that is not scheduled for play must be used.

6. If a player has red ping, he has to fix this problem within 5 minutes. The player has to leave the host if he can't fix the red ping.

7. If a player disconnects after the game has started, the game will continue and the player can join back at any time.

8. If a map results in tie, the map will be replayed.
