Things you hate when on MGO

Right, I've played for about 8 hours solid today as I had a day off and some things are really starting to p*ss me off when on this game.

Soooo, here's a chance for you all to have a good old rant. Tell us what grinds your gears while playing MGO. Absolutely anything! I'll kick us off with a rant:

*Being called a noob or someone telling me I've been pwned. What the fuck?! Grow up man. I post something on the clan notice, I get called a noob. I shoot someone I get called a noob. I get shot, I get told that I've been pwned because I'm a noob. Why because your playing a video game do you have to turn in to a snivelling 12 year old?! It's the reason video gaming will never become mainstream. Nerds. Nobody would ever use that pathetic language while out in town so I cant see why people feel the need to use it when sat in their dingey single bed bedroom playing video games. Go masturbate instead of talking to me.

I've got others but I'm going to bed now. I'll be back tomorrow to chew some more of this beef.

lol ive never been a fan of gaming language, it sounds so ridiculous haha

One thing i hate with a vengence and i know that everyone else is effected by it is LAG.Even if you have a awesome internet connection speed that one laggy player can ruin it for everyone.

Ive noticed it in survival aswell, notably yesterdays survival.The first hour when we got our first 5 win streak connection was fine.But after that the connections to most of the other team if not all of them were very laggy matches.People killing you then hearing them die around the corner and all sorts.But maybe that was me i dunno.

I think it was the Konami servers yesterday. At one point pretty much everybody had red ping. I was unloading 30 bullets in to someones head at one point and it took about 5 seconds for them to die.

I've got a great connection at the moment and in my room nearly everybody has full green ping. But i dont think i saw anybody with more than 2 bars of ping yesterday.

Hopefully they sort it out for the tournament.

Another thing that gets my goat up....

People who take part in base matches but refuse to actually get a base through fear of being killed.

You just see them hiding in a corner or on the top of a building with their sniper rifle improving their kill/death ratio while I run around dodging bullets trying to capture bases.

So now I politely ask them to capture bases or be kicked. And if they dont get kicked then I have to resort to just killing them myself until they leave. Its not a thing Im proud of doing but myself and Link were getting a hammering yesterday just because 2 people refused to move from the top of a building.

UU is a bastard for campers.
Just because they are losing there trying to bleed out points by staying on the roof.

We werent even losing, we had 4 bases at one point with just 5 of us running around. But 2 people just refused to leave the roof. Would have won easily if they had moved but we ended up losing because of them

Thinks its time again for me to add to my rant thread:

Rollers. What the hell are you all playing at? We all start off in a group or are standing on a base and there is always one person who just has to roll and hit everyone sometimes knocking me over.

Occasionally i also have a grenade in my hand which I am about to throw which subsequently gets knocked from grip, explodes and kills 4 of my own team including me which makes me look like a complete and utter twat.

If you want to get that beautiful flying squirrel rank then piss off to a rolling room where you can all roll around in to eachother rather than continually roll in to me.

This goes for capture aswell. I'm about to pick up the gako and the person behind always rolls in to me to try and get it themselves. Piss off. I was first in line.

You rollers know who you are, and I know who you are too. If it continues it will be level 3 knife time.

when tht happens to me i sometimes miss the capture of the base! cause when your in the knocked over stance the 6 capture points dnt count.

but i think i can be guilty of the odd roll at times =\

its a brill map IMO, people who stay up there and camp - its so easy to climb the ladders an kill bowt 5 in a row.

Capture - people throw ya to the floor to capture

FRIENDLY FIRE - OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they'll be a group of ya gangin up, players movin from side to side, BY MISTAKE you shoot 1 BULLET into your own player, friendly fire appears, meaning you cant do nothing !!!

my inconsistency at times is caused by lagging.
SO MANY TIMES do i shoot players in the face...should of died...but carry on, an kill you!!!
theres a gap in a wall on UU, where one of the bases is that leads to the ground floor, when people jump dwn, my god, they appear from knowhere cuz of the laggin.

Oh and about friendly fire. We're gonna turn it off in the clan room as I think there is a bit of demand for it. Should cheer you up!

Ok, I've turned friendly fire off and upped the base rounds to 6. All seems fine to me but let me know if you want anything else tweaked

I dont like that either. It kind of feels like you've been robbed when somebody dives in front of you. Especially when its one of your own clan members!

And when you know theres somebody behind you who is gonna roll, that makes you want to roll too, thus making you also look like a twat.

Tough times on MGO.

Just had a great few hours online and have nothing new to add to this rant thread. Maybe Im all done?

i was killed time and time again by invisible bullets, delayed movement allsorts.

I'm not jokin ya....but if the laggin doesnt stop soon, i'm selling MGS.

It was bad Atti. Took about 10 minutes to get the guy kicked even though we were pointing out that he was inside the wall and they could all see him.

Seems that the team he was on were quite happy to let him do it as he was helping them. He openly admitted what he was doing too but still nobody kicked him.

Thought I was causing the lag being the host so I tried other rooms and it was just the same. Their servers are definitley getting worse.

Man, konami needs to take notice..
More and more people are gettin this game every day, that cant be good news for the servers which are already feeling the pressure.Survival being terrible servers at times.
