Re: Gran Turismo 5
If anyone is struggling with doing the Gran Turismo All Stars event, if you level up to 21 and do the Like the Wind cup in the Extreme section, you get an awesome Toyota that will win it easily. You need to buy a Corvette ZR1, give it racing modification and tune it up to the max (make sure you use Racing Soft tires too) to win the Like the Wind cup.

Online mode is a pile of buggy shit at the moment. It's good when it works though.

If you haven't done it already, win the Gran Turismo World Championship cup on Professional Series and you get an awesome Bugatti with over 900BHP

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Yea the Veyron, you can tune it up to about 1250bhp. But it's not so good on corners, you need to get yourself the Toyota Minolta race car from the Like The Wind competition for a proper unbeatable beast.Padraig wrote:If you haven't done it already, win the Gran Turismo World Championship cup on Professional Series and you get an awesome Bugatti with over 900BHP

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Also the Audi R8 5.2 is a BEAST when you tune it up fully.

Re: Gran Turismo 5
I've just finished the first endurance race (available at level 25) and my xp bar filled up half way, so this means that getting to 40 is going to be by doing lots of endurance racing (the bar hardly goes up doing a lvl 24 race).

Re: Gran Turismo 5
Yea but you can get some nice cars. I just leave it racing while I do other stuff. You have to pay more attention a bit in the higher level races for pit stops.Padraig wrote:I've started doing some B Spec races boringgggggggggg

Re: Gran Turismo 5
I won the level 15 Tuning Car Grand Prix Cup (took over an hour to do) to get a fucking Dome Zero, the same car I won a week ago for some level 8 Jap race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if that wasn't a kick in the bollox enough, it has 1 less BHP than the one I originally won! Shit game

Re: Gran Turismo 5
I just bought the Formula GT from the used car lot for 4.8 million. Now I can complete the extreme series in A & B spec. Pad if you think that race you did was long at one hour, this championship takes like 4+ hours in B spec.
