Expansion pack

Is there anybody left in R Clan who doesnt have the expansion pack?

I have had alot of requests to add the new maps to my room as we are pretty useless on them when it comes to survival. The only reason I havent added them yet is because a few members didnt have the new pack so couldnt join us.

At the moment demand for the new maps is out weighing those that dont have them. So this is your chance to get your voice heard!

I dont like the idea that people wont be able to join in because they dont have the new pack but if its only one or two of you then it may have to happen. If neccesary, mug a family member of their credit card to get the pack then blame it on ID fraud.

Yes, you are right. I don't have it and I don't really know how I can get it without a credit card.

At least my friend can buy the expansion pack for me, so I can play survivor etc.

I'm not sure we can see in survival, but I haven't asked my uncle yet.. I hope he can pay it for me, he used to watch me play MGO when he was here.. And he likes MGS4 but he doesn't have PS3.

So, I've asked my uncle but he hasn't replied me yet.. So maybe we can play survival together or not. I'm just waiting for an email

"In the latest issue of Dengeki Playstation (a Japanese gaming magazine), Kojima Productions has revealed the MEME Expansion Pack for Metal Gear Online. Details of what this Expansion Pack is set to include can be found below!

Three New Maps
-A snow map. Some people are saying the snowfield where you battle a certain boss in MGS4, others are saying High Ice from MGO Classic.
-A forest/jungle map. Not much is said about this new map, besides the color palette resembling Svyatogornyj East.
-A map with a ruin in the middle of it. C'mon, what else could this be besides Ghost Factory from MGO Classic/Plus?

A New Character
-Nothing revealed about 'em. Said to have a sweet, awesome, killer ability (it's Raiden).

New Features
-Once again, nothing revealed. Just promises that these new features will BLOW YOUR MIND AHHHHHHH."

I think the new character is Revolver Ocelot and he uses the Thor weapon (the one that leaves a path of destruction in open areas). Only reason I think that is because I saw him on the 'create game' options menu one day then a few hours later he was quickly removed so they probably put it in by mistake that day.

Hope Ghost Factory makes a return as that was my favourite map on MGO1. I can imagine it being a real bitch for snipers though.

Looks like a European based map will also be on the way.

Also, an actual MGS4 update has been patented and is called MGS4 Existence. I imagine this will be like all the MGS1, 2 and 3 updates that we have had previoulsy (things like Snake tales, VR missions etc). Link: http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/09/rumor-trademark.html
