PES or FIFA?

I'm sure you've all played the demos by now (if not then they are in the Playstation Store to download now)

Which do you prefer? Vote now!

Mine goes to PES. Neither of them are that great or come close to the gameplay on the PS2 versions but PES just about scrapes it for me (mainly because I am used to the controls!).

FIFA for me, feels so solid and smooth gameplay.
The game stays up to date with the real football season too, it tracks players recent performances and it reflects it in the game.Its not major but its an awesome addon.

plus the t-shirts move when runing and walking, which i didnt notice in the demo.
its all about the t-shirt detail

I like the thing about tracking players performances. Had no idea about that.

I used to play FIFA. I think that I've played fifa 1998, 99 and 2003 but then I changed to PES 5 and it was a lot more fun. PES 6 was more of the same and I got bored pretty soon. The demo of PES 2008 sucked imo so i just hope that PES 2009 will be good.

You played the new demos yet KON? It's good but I would have been happier if they used the PS2 engine and just spiced up the graphics. It's certainly better than PES2008 though.

I've not particularly liked any of the FIFA games since the ones on the Megadrive

I wonder if PES 09 online will need a konami id and game id like MGO lol.

Surely you would use the same Konami ID? I remember when the Konami ID came about when people were trying to register for the MGO Beta that quite a few people didnt need to register again as they did it when playing PES2008.
