I hope Friedel keeps going for another year.
Would have been 7-1 last night if it wasn't for him. He was probably our best player aside from Makoun (whose quick passing is probably the best I've seen in a Villa shirt for a long time).

Sian Massey is running the line for the Villa v Blackpool game.

She used to referee in the Bournemouth and Dorset leagues a few years ago. I had her do a few games that I played in and she was probably the best ref that we have had down here.

1 Day (£1.99 for one day)
1 days worth of LIVE streaming.

    2 Weeks (£3.50 for 14 days)
2 weeks worth of LIVE streaming.

    3 Months (£12.00 for 3 months)
3 Months worth of LIVE streaming.

I think I have £2 in my Paypal account so I might try the 1 day option today.

Tried a couple of times getting a screen shot through the first half but getting one of a moving picture looks pretty bad.

I'd say it's the same quality as the best veetle/sopcast stream that you can find, except that it hasn't jumped, stuttered or had to buffer at all.

    :/

They were a disgrace tonight. I dont know why were they resting the starters Young, Walker, Bent, Downing, Albrighton they have no chance for EL or CL and they are in a safe position now

The Club can confirm that Gerard Houllier was admitted to hospital last night. He is in a comfortable condition and he wishes to convey his appreciation to Aston Villa supporters for their concern and good wishes.

The manager spoke to chief executive Paul Faulkner this morning and he is currently undergoing tests. It is anticipated that he will remain in hospital for several days.

Assistant manager Gary McAllister has taken training this morning and he will be in charge of the team for the game against Stoke on Saturday at Villa Park.

"GERARD HOULLIER is highly unlikely to return to management after his chest pains were confirmed as a recurrence of a previous problem. The Aston Villa manager's condition - a tear in the wall of the heart - does not require surgery this time but is serious."

FX Pro and Aston Villa have 'mutually' ended their contract.

    Hopefully we'll have Acorns back.

They will release Reo-Coker, John Carew, Robert Pires, Moustapha Salifou, Isaiah Osbourne, Harry Forrester, Arsenio Halfhuid, Durrell Berry, Ellis Deeney and Calum Flanagan

Most of these players were not playing too much Reo had some good games

i hope Friedel will stay at least one more year. He is still good he had epic saves against Liverpool

Lots of sources saying Houllier is on his way out.

"Aston Villa will confirm this week that Gerard Houllier is to stand down as manager because of health reasons.
It is understood that the Frenchman’s final medical reports revealed that a return to management would put his health at too great a risk."

Friedel gone aswell. He got a 2 year contract as Spurs.

Clearly done it for the money. I had no idea he was actually bankrupt:

    A real shame he's gone.

Tbh i don't see Gomez as that bad of a goalkeeper, he's better than half of the premiership gk's.
Curious to see if Guzan will step up or if we go looking for someone else.

I didnt think Spur's really needed him to be honest.

They now have 3 keepers who would walk in to any team outside of the top 4.

Rumours a few days ago were Ben Foster joining for £9m.
