I think we all learned last night the importance of selective goaling in Race. There are certain places where you just shouldn't goal (unless its the last one obviously ), because of how easy it is to get spawn camped. Also, getting the goals at the back of maps are a waste of time as you are too far away to defend and have to take the target too long of a distance to goal. Good teams will punish you on this. Examples of these places:

Base 4 of U.U.
Near Base 3 of C.C.
Both underground bases of B.B.
Both ends of the M.M. map
There is pretty much 1/2 every map.

Thats a really good point pad about the ease of getting spawn camped, and until chatting last night in that UU race game i had never really thought about it tbh.

Before it was just if it was either really difficult to get to or if it meant pretty much running through their base we would try to give it a miss. Now however i see what your saying. ie think were we will spawn next at the previous goal and if its pretty blocked off, like you said, there is a high chance a good team will punish us for it.

On a side note, use my special hidey spot in VV RES xD

I have found many tricks and good Tactics on WW - any mode. And Ty FOX, thats a great idea you got there about warming up and trying tactics be 4 the actual mach.
